  • Books on reserve at the library for additional background information:  Henry Chadwick, The Early Church; Robert Wilken, The Christians as the Romans Saw Them
  • The e-book The Early Christian World available on the Pacific website
    • Search on PacifiCat or go to the following: click here for e-book
    • Click on “click to view”
    • Agree to the copyright limitations
    • Wait for new window to open AND for book to load (may take some time)
    • Click on “View this title” on the left and then Contents in the middle-left column
    • Use the Table of Contents to navigate – click on the page number of the chapter/article you want in the ToC.  The ToC has multiple pages, so scroll through the ToC by clicking on the arrows at the top to scroll through pages.
    • If you have questions, talk to a reference librarian at the library or talk to me after class or in Office Hours

I strongly caution against using non-academic websites to find background information unless I have recommended the site. 

 
Disability Resources
