Grading and Evaluations
Final Grades will be calculated as follows:
2 papers -- 15% each
2
exams -- 15% each
1
small research project -- 17.5%
Class
participation -- 15% (includes brief presentation on readings that will
be graded P/F)
Quizzes
-- 7.5%
Remember:

More than 2 absences in the semester will affect your grade.

Only excused absences qualify for makeup work.
*
Late work will not be accepted. Makeup exams will not * be
provided.
*
Exceptions to this policy are provided only in cases of true
emergencies.
*
If you experience an emergency, contact the professor ASAP to make alternative
arrangements.
